Who Is Doctor Dave?

For many of you who received the recent news bulletin, and have not come into the Studio I am sure you are wondering - Who is this Doctor Dave?

Dr. Dave Hepburn MD joined us for his first session on December 1st. Dr. Dave will be supplying treatments in Botox, Restylane, and Perlayne. These products are used to reduce the look of lines/wrinkles, tightening, lifting and smoothing the skin as well as many exciting use uses.

Dr. David Hepburn M.D. has attended many clinical/medical facial rejuvenation courses, as well as advanced Botox administration.  He is certified in the applications of Dermafirm, Non surgical rhinoplasty (5 minute nose job), Volumalift/Restylift, and DC Lipo.

Presently based in Victoria B.C., he is now expanding into the Okanagan. Dr. Dave provides patients/clients with the most complete rejuvenating experience both inside and out.

Dr. Dave joins us with quite an impressive background! Dr. Dave Hepburn is an award winning syndicated columnist to more than 100 newspapers across the United States and Canada. In BC this includes the Sunday Province and the Times Colonist. He is a recipient of the prestigious Canadian Community Newspaper Association columnist of the year award and in the US he won the Arizona Newspaper Association columnist of the year for 2002.

In 1995 he lived in the remote Pacific island of Tanna in the country of Vanuatu where, for most of a year he was the sole doctor and bush surgeon to 30,000 Tannese, many of whom had never seen a white man. His remarkable Vanuatu exploits, including that of standing on the edge of a volcano as it exploded were chronicled weekly on CBC radio.

Dr. Hepburn was the lone Canadian naval surgeon in the Persian Gulf War in 1991. In addition to personally flying the infamous Sea King helicopters he served as the doctor for the West Coast fleet for three years.

His interest in sports and sports medicine resulted in him being called to be a medical director of the 1994 Commonwealth Games in gymnastics. He has been or currently is the team doctor to national rugby teams as well as junior and professional hockey teams.

He has coached at the highest level of hockey for 12 years and he himself entered the Guinness Book of World Records as the highest scoring defenceman in the longest hockey game in history. He plays three times a week to maintain his girlish figure.

In 1996 he was a doctor to the Olympic Games and marched into Olympic stadium in Atlanta.

His thrill seeking exploits have taken him around the globe and across the equator several times. He is an avid outdoors man and whitewater enthusiast, and has been a leader in the Canadian Boy Scouts for 14 years.

He currently has a medical radio show in Victoria and is a keyboardist for a rock band for old dudes.

Zoning Petition

Kristie will be going through the process to rezone her property in the new year. This way we can expand and provide more varied services at Enhance Studio. Be sure to sign the petition at the studio, as it is one of the first steps to making this change. Thank you all for your support!

Seasons Greetings All,

With all the changes, the paperwork is slowly getting completed and the bugs worked out with the newsletter. It has been
a big job combining Lynn's filing system with Kristie's, but the process is nearing completion.

In January we will give you a better introduction to Jennifer. She is an angel who has joined us to help Kristie out in the clinic just before the holidays. As you all know Kristie is a one-woman hurricane, and with things picking up Jennifer is helping a great deal in keeping her from burning out!

Spending time at Enhance Studio has introduced me to a wonderful group of people who gather with Kristie to make our community and lives better. Much appreciation to everyone who has made this year so memorable!
