Bad News for Bruises

Bettcha haven't heard of that one. But perhaps you have heard of it's more common name, Arnica. Used for centuries for swelling, stiffness, muscle soreness and bruising, Arnica is an ancient homeopathic remedy derived from the dried roots and flowers of the arnica plant.

Known to have anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties it also helps to stimulate white blood cells to facilitate healing by helping to eliminate excess fluid from traumatized areas.

Every first aid kit would do well to include an topical arnica cream for bruises and swelling.
Caution: don't use it on broken skin.

Legs Looking Like an Atlas?

Oh to have the legs of a 20 year old again!

Well, we may not like the popping up of those red and blue squiggles that appear as the years accumulate, but when I think of what my legs have done for me, where they have taken me and what they have allowed me to do, I am very grateful for them.

However, if there is a way to have them look better, I'm grateful for that too. And there is.
